A night in Toogoolawah, last one in Queensland for a while. The exchange hotel, just up the street from house Ian lived in as a wee one. Flag flying, piano on porch, but no piano player.

A couple of finds at an enormous museum in Miles. Antique harp called a boomerang and a school exhibit that Ian and Janette recognized. Yes, they used slates.


Toured the Roma Saleyard. The largest cattle auction facility in Oz. 400,000 head a year. Saw road trains like this full of cattle on our drive.
